The 71st Annual IHSCDEA State Conference has returned to a face to face conference for Spring of 2025.  It will take place on May 7th, 8th, and 9th  Gain professional development hours for participation in live events with a focus on the new ISBE Driver Education Standards.

How to attend?

The 2025 Spring Conference is going to provide a wealth of resources for your BTW and classroom program. Our Curriculum Committee has been focused on creating ready to use standards based lessons for you to take home and use. We are also focusing on teachers sharing their best lesson's with a focus on how they fit into the new Illinois Driver Education Standards.  We expect this to be a great learning opportunity and also a great time. If you have a lesson that you would like to share at the conference please fill out this Google form The IHSCDEA is an ISBE approved provider of professional development activities. Our number is 100605. Participation in these professional meetings will allow Illinois teachers to claim credits toward certificate renewal. We pride ourselves on providing Illinois Driver Educators with research-based strategies and skills that accomplish common core standards and best practices. One (1) CPDU will be awarded for each hour of attendance. All Surveys and CPDU Certificates will be issued through your IHSCDEA Membership Portal.
